Was passiert eigentlich mit unseren Küchen? Reduzieren wir so sehr, das wir vielleicht schon bald das Leben gänzlich aus der Küche verbannt haben? Immer mehr Oberfläche, mehr Versteck, mehr Formalie. Sind das noch Küchen? Oder neue, noch nicht wirklich definierte Räume?

The Farm Project versucht, das Leben in die Küche zurück zu holen. Die Farben, die Gerüche, die Details, die Tiere, die Wasserquellen, die Geräusche, die Blumen, die Überraschungen, die Reife-Prozesse, die Rituale. The Farm Project verdammt nicht die so genannte Designküche, im Gegenteil: The Farm Project möchte verhindern, dass ihr etwas verloren geht.

What’s happening to our kitchens? Are we reducing everything to the point that we may just ban all life from them? More and more surface, more hiding, more formality. Are those really kitchens? Or some new kind of room that has yet to be defined?

The Farm Project is about bringing life back into the kitchen. The colors, the smells, the details, the animals, the springs, the sounds, the trees, the surprises, the ripening, the rituals. The Farm Project does not condemn what is called the designer kitchen, on the contrary: The Farm Project would like to prevent it from losing something.
